Who We Are

Social Welfare Society (SWS) is an official society of Peshawar Medical College & Peshawar Dental College. This society is non profitable organization which is run by the respected staff and passionate members and volunteers of Peshawar Medical College. It not only provides an organized platform for the students of Peshawar Medical College & Peshawar dental college but it also grooms & encourages them to help those in need. Hence when members and volunteers graduate they are more empathic, sympathetic due to which they do not hesitate to help those less fortunate than themselves.

Our Aim

The main aim of this society is to help less fortunate, disaster stricken, needy people of the society.

Established in 2006, in the aftermath of the Swat operation, the Student Welfare Society (SWS) embodies a mission deeply rooted in Islamic values, service to humanity, compassion for patients, and support for those in need. Through unwavering dedication, transparency, and sincerity, SWS has earned recognition and trust internationally becoming a beacon of hope for the underprivileged. Alhamdulillah, we are humbled by the confidence people place in us, entrusting their Sadaqah and Zakat, assured that their contributions reach those who truly deserve support. SWS is driven by a passionate team of young doctors and students who bring energy, empathy, and innovative thinking to the forefront. Addressing fundamental human needs, SWS PMC strive to serve communities in meaningful and impactful ways.
SWS PMC has not only provided medications to deserving patients, distributed food packages, and raised funds for Palestine and Syria, but has also conducted over 1,000 educational sessions and awareness seminars. In addition, our students have selflessly helped save hundreds of lives through blood donation initiatives.These extraordinary individuals are not merely students – they are heroes, always ready to respond to the call of duty.
As Chairperson, I am proud to have witnessed the growth and strength of SWS over the years. I invite all students to join SWS, become part of this inspiring journey, and contribute to a lasting legacy of service, integrity, and hope. My heartfelt gratitude to all those who have been part of SWS and continue to support us.
